Current Net Worth: -$17,252

Well, due to the fact that I’m just establishing myself in the world of non-college living, my net worth seems to be decreasing. I leased a car (2008 Honda Civic) and I added the total payment liability to the negative column - a major hit to the overall net worth from the month before. My cash reserves are increasing, however - and I still have yet to receive my first US salary paycheck, which should be pretty substantial. Thankfully, I’ve maintained no credit card debt of any sort and have started paying on my student loans, slowly but surely. Thankfully the federal loans have a decent interest rate. Once stuff gets going with the higher paycheck at my new job, things should start going along a little more smoothly and the curve should bottom out and start increasing out of its pit.
